Some entertaining squeezes and a low, wet crawl lead to an impressive
SRT pitch and the famous Great Rubble Heap.

Recently I enjoyed another fine evening trip down this classic East Kingsdale pothole. Going at a steady pace the trip took about 4 hours. I decided to handline the final small pitch as there is a narrow constriction part-way down. However, care is required if doing this, as the pitch bells out beneath the squeeze. Also watch out for barbed wire at the bottom of the Entrance Pitch!
