Some fine formations in the Lower Passage await any cavers willing
to test their nerve on Dickory Pitch.

A few notes on Craftsman's Pot which we ventured into recently. There has been a collapse of rock and mud in the little chamber just after the entrance crawl which may require further excavation in order to descend the rift easily. Due to the volume of soil/mud, the exit is difficult as there aren't many hand or foot holds and the mud makes it particularly greasy and awkward. The pitches are rigged although you still require a spanner to attach a couple of bolts that are not attached but are on the rope. Dock Pitch is not well rigged but did suffice. The bedding crawl leading to the Lower Passage requires some serious removal of stones and rock. I did the first few metres, but had to stop due to time constraints.
