CAR POT

A narrow and awkward descent is fully rewarded by some roomy and well-decorated lower passages.

Tom Baker and I did a recent trip into Car Pot to photograph the superb formations in the lower passages. It's an excellent trip and in my opinion is a good 'early' choice for new users of Not for the Faint-Hearted. The entrance series provides a few awkward obstacles but nothing too bad. We had to clear a few rocks from Baptistry Crawl and a rope was used to pull the bags through. Rope lengths were spot on and most of the spits are still in reasonably good condition.
